About us

Aqua Airlines is the airline company of Navigando Air, which, after more than 60 years, intends to re-launch aerial transportation on the Italian Seas using seaplanes.

Italy boasts a glorious past in the history of seaplanes , and the origins of Italian passenger air transportation dates back to the 1920s, when seaplanes built and operated by Italian companies provided the first regularly flown routes.

The idea of resuming such a tradition is both fascinating and practical. It is intended to combine the beauty of this type of flight with the possibility of reaching tourist ports and seashore destinations in much reduced time, departing from international airports as well as any practicable stretch of seas.

The initial fleet will be made up of Cessna Caravan C208 amphibian aircrafts and a C206.

These aircrafts are amphibian seaplanes, and as such they can land either on a solid runway or in the water, thereby allowing anyone direct transfer from any Italian airport to the desired island, seaport, beach, or even one's own yacht, by means of charter and flights on demand

Samples of possible connections are: Rome's airports to the Pontine Islands or the Island of Sardinia; the city of Naples to the islands of Ischia, Capri, Procida, or Ponza; the cities of Catania and Palermo to the Aeolian and Egadi Islands.

Connecting flights will be available beginning at the end of June.
